Martin Kogon
CEO, Pull-a-Part
Martin Kogon, along with his long-term partners Alan Cohen and Mark Cohen, manage Pull-A-Part – a discount do-it-yourself used auto parts retail operation which they started in 1996. Prior to managing Pull-A-Part, the three were principals in Central Metals Company, a 3rd generation scrap metal recycling company which was acquired by Recycling Industries in 1997. Kogon also serves as a member of the board of Definition 6 – a top ten business consultancy specializing in internet communications, collaboration, and commerce. He started his business career with IBM in the mid 60’s.
Kogon is first vice president of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta and past chairman of the Federation’s Campaign for Community Needs. He was the original chairman of the Federation’s Israel Economic Development Committee that was the predecessor to the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Southeast Region. He is also a member of the Georgia World Congress Center Authority.
Kogon received a BS in industrial engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

He and his wife, Judy have two sons - Michael and Ross; two daughters-in-law – Laurie and Sara; and one grand daughter – Eve.
