Ed Baker grew up in Atlanta and has been Publisher of Atlanta Business Chronicle for 19 years. In addition to his local responsibilities, Ed is Vice President/Chief Marketing Officer of American City Business Journals, the corporate parent of the Chronicle and 40 other weekly business journals in major markets around the country.

Ed is very active in the community, serving on the boards of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau, Atlanta Business League, Leadership Atlanta, Junior Achievement, Atlanta Police Foundation and Public Broadcasting/Atlanta.

Prior to joining the Chronicle, Ed worked for 11 years in senior management at two of the nation’s premier advertising agencies--J. Walter Thompson and DMB&B.

A graduate of Georgia State University, Ed is happily married to his high school sweetheart--for 30 years. They have one son who graduated with an MBA from Georgia State.
